When menopause comes

Each organism is individual, so there are no exact numbers here, but on average it is generally accepted that menopause begins at the age of 50 years. But sometimes, for one reason or another (poor ecology, bad habits, poor lifestyle, and also some diseases), an early menopause can occur in a woman at about 40 years old. That is why it is important to know the first signs of menopause in order to go to a doctor in time and take action if necessary.

The first symptoms of menopause

If you notice only one or two signs, this is absolutely normal, but if there are several such symptoms at once, this is a reason to consult a doctor.

  • Night tides – the appearance of heat or heat in the whole body. Especially such sensations appear in the area of ​​the face, neck and chest.

  • Drastic mood swings. Five minutes ago you laughed and rejoiced at life, and now you suddenly want to cry? Hormones are to blame.
  • Irritability. Even if by nature you are a very calm person, you may notice that lately more and more things have annoyed you and put you out of yourself.
  • Dry mouth and change in taste preferences. So, if you have never loved shrimp, and now you are ready to eat their days away, this is also one of the possible manifestations of the approaching menopause.
  • Loss and brittle hair. You may notice that the hair has become less thick and strong.
  • Aging skin. Wrinkles can become more noticeable and pronounced, and skin – dry.
  • Forgetfulness and distraction. They came to the store and forgot what they wanted to buy? Meet new people and immediately forget what their names are? This, too, may be due to hormonal adjustment.
